Collaboration in the Classroom
In today’s modern classroom, students have dozens of distractions vying for their attention. Boredom and disengagement are real problems in traditional classroom settings, where teachers deliver lessons with one-way communication and students lack the ability to engage in true discussion with both their teacher and their peers.
In the Spring of 2016, mcSquares conducted a breakthrough study over the course of two days with 7th graders in an urban public middle school. During the study, we uncovered the astonishing benefits of increasing collaboration in the classroom with our handheld whiteboard system.
